Oil Tanning Characteristics
The primary types of oil tanning is chrome oil tanning. Oil is applied during the manufacturing process to create a durable leather. The oily finish helps the hide resist stains, water, sweat and other elements that may damage your leather. With special oils and waxes applied throughout the tanning process, it also gives the hide a supple, and natural look and feel. Oil tanned leather has incredible durability and can easily withstand daily wear.
Colors may vary from photograph to actual leather in hand. For color approval, please order a leather swatch.
