Nigeria Wholesale Market

Nigeria is an African country with a growing middle and upper class. The spending power of consumers in Nigeria has been growing along with the expanding economy.

Increased government regulations, the rising price of oil, communication advancements, and travel options, have all led towards a growing market for brand name products in Nigeria. American brands especially enjoy an increase in popularity, and consumers in Nigeria are willing to spend a good deal of money to acquire them. Brands such as Polo, Calvin Klein, Dior, Levi’s, Nike, and Adidas are in heavy demand. Jeans, dress shirts, dresses, and high end women’s suits are sought after by eager customers. Consumers appreciate the high quality that the brands stand for, and are educated regarding the value of the products.

Wholesalers selling to Nigeria have traditionally exported used clothing. Used clothing was a prime product since it was geared towards customers in a third world country where the per capita income was extremely low. Now that the spending power of the average Nigerian is rising, wholesalers are focusing on brand new merchandise. Since the cost of shipping is still an issue, bulky items such as electronics and furniture can be difficult to export in a cost effective basis.

On the other hand, due to the light weight nature of clothing, wholesalers have a much easier time exporting, and making money on clothing. Since China has been flooding the market with cheap generic clothing, the best approach is to focus on brand names. The more popular the brand, and the higher the quality of the item, the more it will stand out from the generic clothing being sold by the Chinese wholesalers.

The Nigerian economy is booming, and so is the demand for brand name clothing by its consumers. Exporting to Nigeria requires a deep understanding of consumer tastes and market characteristics, which once understood, can lead a wholesaler to having a very profitable export business.

Rawhide Dog Bones Are An All-Breed All Star!

Lots of help is available for your search: Just Google – selecting a dog breed to begin your research. Selection tools will rate breeds in terms of:

Energy levels Friendliness towards other people/dogs

Exercise requirements Trainability

Playfulness Protective ability

Affection levels Hot/cold sensitivity

Being prepared is the best way to get off on the right foot with your new dog.

What you should know about dog bones

Chewing is a natural behavior

Rawhide dog bones satisfy all dogs instinctive urge to chew and are an important part of a happy and healthy dog’s life. They provide hours of enjoyment and the simple act of chewing allows dogs to work through any feelings they have of anxiety or boredom. Chewing on a dog bone will also divert puppies from destructive chewing behavior, like chewing on your shoes, socks or furniture.

Dog bones and dental health

Dental health is as important for dogs as it is for humans. Chewing on dog bones helps to scrape away plaque, control tartar buildup, whiten teeth and stimulate the teeth and bums. It will also help to control doggy breath!

For puppies, chewing also helps to relieve pain from teething. As you can now see, dog bones are much more than just a treat.

Dog bones come in many shapes, sizes and types, so choose wisely.

Consider first the size of the dog and his chewing style. For example, if you are obedience training, choose a small treat regardless of the dog’s size. Using the treat to reinforce good behaviour is the objective: we don’t want him to be so entertained with the treats that he forgets all about the training.

If your dog is an aggressive chewer, try compressed rawhide. This is the longest-lasting rawhide on the market. In addition to dog bones, we experiment with other rawhide shapes. Choose from knotted bones, twists, rolls or novelty shapes like dumbbells!

If your dog is an indoor pet, and you are sensitive about rawhide staining chairs and carpets look for Beefeaters Non Stain Cuisine line. Non Stain Cuisine rawhides include: natural rawhide dog bones and rolls, hickory smoked bones and beef and chicken based rolls.

Providing a wide variety of nutritious, tasty dog treats is what Beefeaters is all about. Shop online or visit our retailers for Beefeaters chicken dog treats, dog chews, dog bones, rawhide chews, natural chews and more natural flavor dog treats. For more information, please visit

House Cleaning Tip: How To Kill Bacteria In Common Household Areas

Disinfecting Bacteria in your Home

Keeping a home clean and healthy can be a struggle. While it’s easy to disinfect surfaces and kill bacteria in easy-to-reach spaces, most people don’t realize that bacteria may be growing in various places throughout their homes, placing their families at risk of infection. Here are some common places bacteria hide and how to fight it.

Bacteria love to grow in moisture. That makes the bathroom an ideal environment for bacteria. Cleaning the bathroom sink, toilet, shower, and floors with a disinfectant cleaner is good first step, but bacteria can flourish in a seemingly clean environment. There are a few extra steps that can be taken to further minimize bacterial exposure.

Toilet: Since toilets constantly hold water, it is virtually impossible to eliminate all bacteria living under the water’s surface. The key is to limit any exposure to that bacteria. When the toilet is flushed, the pressure forces tiny particles of fecal material into the air. Keeping the toilet lid closed while flushing will prevent these particles from becoming airborne. It is also important to disinfect the toilet twice a week. To prevent cross contamination, do not use any sponges or cloths used to clean the toilet on other surfaces.

Shower: Along with bacteria, showers tend to grow mold and mildew. Most people take care to disinfect the floor and walls of their shower or bathtub, but neglect the source of the water itself. To keep a shower germ free, remove the showerhead and soak in a solution of bleach and water or vinegar and water. This will not only kill bacteria, but any mold or mildew that may be growing inside.

The kitchen is the area where people tend to be the most vigilant about disinfecting surfaces. Fighting bacteria while preparing food requires clean hands and clean surfaces. However, bacteria can sneak into the very materials that are used to keep the kitchen clean.

Sponges: Bacteria love sponges. They are a moist and fertile breeding ground for nasty germs. It is easy to disinfect sponges in the microwave. Placing a moist sponge in the microwave for 2 minutes will kill any bacteria growing inside.

Garbage disposal: The garbage disposal presents some of the same problems as the toilet. Placing a cover over the drain will prevent bacterial particles from being forced into the air over sinks and counter-tops.

One potential area of the home that may be neglected when disinfecting is the bedroom. While it is not commonly associated with bacteria, there are areas of the bedroom where germs love to breed.

Mattress: When sleeping, the human body will sweat and also shed dead skin cells. Over time, these particles become trapped in the mattress and attract dust mites and other organisms. Baking soda can be used to disinfect a mattress. Sprinkle baking soda on the surface of the mattress, let it sit for about an hour, and then vacuum. Dust mite and moisture will be drawn out and removed.
